This Tuesday we kicked off our first ever “Sensational Science” class here at the Life Shop. We learned why certain items glow under a blacklight and had fun watching these fluorescent molecules glow in everyday household items. It was really cool learning how to extract a plant’s chlorophyll and watch it glow the color of blood red under a blacklight. We all conducted our own experiments and formed a hypothesis and recorded our observations by drawing them. Check out our pics!
